About HCC - Hindu Cultural Center
HCC - Hindu Cultural Center of CT is a non- profit organization founded in 2002. We meet regularly twice a month at the Unitarian Church in Stratford CT.
Our Mission is to build a center:- Where Indian Americans can get together to continue and celebrate the religious and cultural traditions of our heritage
- Where the youth can come together to listen, question and incorporate the ‘Hindu’ ideals in their day to day life, and continue the legacy of our cultural heritage
- Where we can provide to any one who is interested wisdom of Hindu philosophy, and to promote intercultural appreciation and understanding
HCC in association with our affiliate organization - Arya Samaj of CT is actively looking for land or building to conduct various religious activities.
Currently, we meet every month in a rented church facility located in Stratford, Connecticut. This location is becoming inadequate to accommodate the steadily increasing participation by the Hindu community and their demand for an independent Temple/Cultural facility owned and managed by ourselves. This facility will be available to all Hindus living in the Southern Connecticut to perform their religious, social, and cultural activities. Such a Temple/Cultural facility of our own can be accomplished only with your active support and generous donations.
